VVS public transit association provides an extensive network of lines with integrated timetables and effective connection schedules to the traveling public. VVS tickets can be used on all subways, commuter trains, streetcars, buses, the cog railway and the cable car. VVS' uniform tariffs are valid throughout Stuttgart as well as its neighboring districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Ludwigsburg, the Rems-Murr-District, and for the railway line between Geislingen and Lorch.
